Arab Cup 2021: Mauritania Arrives in Doha to Face Yemen

Doha, June 20 (QNA) - The Mauritanian team arrived in Doha to participate in the qualifiers for the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup against the Yemeni team on Tuesday at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium to book a seat in Group C, which includes Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates and Syria.
Upon its arrival at the airport, the mission was received by members of the local organizing committee. The mission's members were subjected to a COVID-19 test before moving to their residence to enter a health bubble that would continue until the time of departure, according to the instructions of the organizing committee, which prohibits teams from moving except for training and matches.
The team will start training on Sunday evening at Qatar University stadiums to start direct preparations for facing the Yemeni team.
Mauritania played two friendly matches before coming to Doha, the first was against Algeria on June 3 and lost it 1-4 and the second was against Liberia on June 11 and won it 1-0.
The squad list includes 23 players: Namouri Diao, Babiker Diop, Mbaki Njiay, Abdoul Ba, Bakari Engai, Abou Si, Mohamed Bebo, Al Hussein Abdel Rahman, Diyadi Diarra, Rachid Sidi Ahmed, Mustafa Diao, Abdullah Mahmoud, Mohamed Dlahi, Almiki.
