Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation Forms Committee to Visit Iraq and Inspect its Facilities

Doha, December 20 (QNA) - The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) discussed, during its meeting on Sunday in Doha, all matters related to the organization of the 25th edition of the Arabian Gulf Cup. The Vice President of the Arab Gulf Cup Federation Dr. Jassim bin Mohamed Al Shukaili, chaired the meeting, which was held at the Federation's headquarters in Doha, in the presence of all members, either directly or through video conference technology. In its meeting, the federation decided to form a committee to evaluate and study Iraq's candidacy to host the Arabian Gulf Cup 25, and to form a committee to visit Iraq and inspect its facilities during the coming period, after coordination between the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation and the Iraqi Football Association. After completing the inspection, the committee will submit a report to the executive office of the Arab Gulf Cup Federation that includes its observations and recommendations, so that its members can review and study the candidacy, to make sure that there are no deficiencies in the availability of the requirements and standards before taking its decision. The Arabian Gulf Cup 25 tournament will be held in Dec. 2021 or Jan. 2022, according to the executive office of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation. (QNA)
