Asian Men’s Club Championship to kick off in Tehran today

TEHRAN,April 21(MNA) - The 2013 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship will begin in Tehran today. The tournament will bring 14 teams together at the Azadi Indoor Stadium from April 21 to 29. A total of 14 teams divided into four pools in the competition. After the preliminary round, the top two teams from each pool will advance to the classification round to decide their rankings. The teams who have already played among each other in the previous round will not play again, but the result will be brought for the consideration of their rankings. Pool divisions are as follows: Pool A: Iran’s Kaleh, Kuwait’s Al Arabi, United Arab Emirates’ Al Ain, China’s Taipei Pool B: Qatar’s Rayyan, Uzbekistan, Iraq’s South Gas Pool C: China’s Liaoning, India, Al-Bouchrieh Pool D: Toyoda Gosei Trefuerza, Kazakhstan, Oman, Maldives
