The Saudi team owes this victory to its player Saleh Al Shehri, who scored the winning goal in the 31st minute from a header. With this result, the Saudi national team has 16 points, maintaining the top spot in Group B, while Vietnam remains without points in the last place in the group. Saudi Arabia netted again with a tap-in from the second half. But after reviewing the situation on VAR, the referee called off the goal as Vietnamese defender Nguyen Thanh Chung was fouled.
