Athletes from Kyrgyzstan win gold and silver at international marathon in Tashkent

Sportsmen from Kyrgyzstan Maria Korobitskaya and Ilya Tyapkin won gold and silver medals of the III Tashkent International Marathon "Navruz", the press service of the Uzbekistan Athletics Federation said today. The best result among women was shown by the representative of Kyrgyzstan Maria Korobitskaya. In the women's half marathon, she achieved the first result 1:13:19, and in the women's marathon, she came first to the finish with a result of 2:32:21 and won gold. Among men, the second place, like last year, was won by Ilya Tyapkin from Kyrgyzstan, having run the distance in 2:23:34. The competition was attended by about 2000 athletes and runners from 15 countries.
