Azerbaijan`s Mammadyarov draws with Russian Karjakin at Tata Steel Chess Tournament

Baku, January 17, AZERTAC Azerbaijan`s grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov has been held to a draw by Russian Sergey Karjakin in the fourth round of the 80th Tata Steel Chess Tournament in Wijk aan Zee, the Netherlands increasing his points to 2.5. After the four rounds Vishwanatan Anand continues to share the top spot along with Anish Giri who drew his game against current World champion Magnus Carlsen. Both are on 3 points each. Three players - Carlsen, Vladimir Kramnik and Shahriyar Mammadyarov - are in the second spot with 2.5 points apiece. Sergey Karjakin, Yi Wei and Gawain Jones are tied for the third spot with 2 points each.
