Bahrain lose 2-0 to Oman in AFC U17 Asian Cup Qualifiers

Manama, Oct. 5(BNA): Bahrain lost 2-0 to Oman today in their third Group C game of the 2023 AFC U17 Asian Cup Qualifiers. The crucial match was played at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex stadium, in Muscat, the Sultanate of Oman. Omani Tamim Al Buraiki struck the first goal through a penalty kick in the injury time for the first time, before sealing the final victory in the 62nd minute of the match. Oman now totals 6 points, while Bahrain’s tally stands at 4 points from three games. The national team will play its last Group match versus Iraq tomorrow.
