Bahrain's top horses eying victory in Saudi Cup

Manama, Feb. 19 (BNA): Bahraini horses are set to participate in the final day of the Saudi Cup, held at the King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Riyadh. The highest calibre racehorses from all over the world will compete at the various competitions of the Saudi Cup, the world’s most valuable horse race. “Simsir”, from Victorious stable, and “Global Giant”, from the Al-Adiyat Racing, will compete at the main 1800-metre round of the Saudi Cup for imported horses. The two horses came first and second during the Bahrain International Trophy 2020. “Dark Power”, the winner of last year’s stc 1351 Turf Sprint in the Saudi Cup 2020, will try to maintain its title. The winner of HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s Cup for this season, horse “New Show”, from Victorious Stable, will also participate in the Saudi Cup weekend. “Roman River” will make its debut in the Saudi horseracing festival and compete in the 1,200m Riyadh Dirt Sprint.
