Basketball: Al Wakra and Qatar to Play for Fifth Place Following Wins

Doha, January 20 (QNA) - Al Wakra and Qatar defeated Al Khor and Al Ahli respectively in the matches determining fifth to eighth place of the Qatari basketball league. In the first game, Al Wakra defeated Al Khor in a 90-63 blowout. Meanwhile Qatar edged past Al Ahli 82-74. The results will see Al Wakra and Qatar face one another to determine fifth place. The semi-finals are set to take place on Wednesday. The first game will see Al Gharafa face Al Sadd, while Al Shamal will face Al Arabi in the second. The winners will play on Sunday to determine the champion. (QNA)
