BFA fully committed to success of Cordoba F.C.'s training camp in Bahrain

Manama, Jan. 12 (BNA): Bahrain Football Association (BFA) President Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has affirmed that the BFA is fully committed to ensuring the success of the training camp of Cordoba Football Club in Bahrain. The Spanish team has flown to the farthest destination in its history to train in Manama until January 18. Shaikh Ali praised the steps taken by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, noting that the Federation’s Board of Directors supports HH's directives to make Bahrain a favorite destination to host various tournaments and camps. Cordoba F.C.'s training camp in Bahrain is an outstanding sports event to which the BFA accords great care and special attention in line with the directives of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. HH Shaikh Khalid has called for invigorating the role of sports federations in Bahrain and strengthening their work by hosting important sports camps, Shaikh Ali said. The camp consolidates Bahrain's status as a distinguished place for holding sports camps and highlights the Kingdom's achievements at all levels, including sports, he added. Shaikh Ali pointed out that the training camp by the Spanish club in Bahrain enhances the developmental goals of Bahraini football, especially as Cordoba F.C. will play two friendly matches against Al Khalidiya and Riffa clubs. There are great advantages to the direct contact of our teams with professional players from Europe, including gaining wider experience and greater expertise in technical and administrative areas, he said.
