BMF President congratulates Saudi counterpart on 2021 Dakar Rally success

Manama, Jan. 16 (BNA): Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF) President, Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, has congratulated the President of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al Abdullah Al Faisal, on the outstanding success of Saudi Arabia in hosting the 2021 Dakar Rally despite the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa stressed that Saudi Arabia’s success confirms its huge potentials to host all international motor sport events, noting that Saudi Arabia’s success is also the success of Bahrain. He also lauded the distinguished performance of the Bahraini motorcyclist, Salman Mohammed, who took part in the rally for the second time in the motorbike category, and managed to finish all stages. He expressed deep pride in the achievement of Salman Mohammed who was the first Bahraini to finish all stages of such a world rally.
