B.NOMIN CAPTURES BRONZE MEDAL

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the second day of the 2015 Asian Wrestling Championship continuing in Doha, Qatar, an international master of sports B.Nomin grabbed a bronze medal in the men’s 61 contest of freestyle wrestling. In the preliminary bouts, Nomin beat his rivals of Turkmenistan and North Korea. Then he was defeated by a Kazakh wrestler at the semi-final. At the repechage round, he defeated a Kyrgyz opponent. As the team results of the men’s freestyle wrestling competition, Mongolia took fourth place with 45 points. The teams of Iran and Japan were ranked 1st and 2nd places, respectively. By the schedule, competitions of women’s 53, 55, 60, 63 and 69 kg matches will run on Friday.
