China Divers Win Gold And Bronze Medals In Men's 3M Event

KUCHING (Sarawak, Malaysia), Oct 21 (Bernama) -- China's diver Xie Siyi has won the gold medal in the men's 3m springboard event final of the 2016 Final Grand Prix Kuching leg at the Pandelela Rinong Aquatics Centre here Friday. He collected a total of 479.15 points from his six round dives. Another Chinese Peng Jianfeng collected 421.45 points to win the silver medal while Australian Kevin Chavez collected 397.65 points to win the bronze medal. Malaysia’s Chew Yiwei finished fifth with 371.60 points, Peter Mai of Canada in fourth placing with 388.55 points and United States' diver Jordan Windle at sixth placing. -- BERNAMA
