Competitions of Qatar International Open Parachuting Championship Continue

Doha, February 07 (QNA) - The competitions of the Qatar International Open Parachuting Championship, organized by the Qatar Air Sports Committee, continued on Sunday in Sealine, with the participation of a number of countries including Qatar, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Slovenia, Libya, Palestine, and Morocco. The tournament intensified in all competitions, as the Qatari quadruple parachuting team continued its impressive performance by winning two days in a row after obtaining 243 points in eight rounds, followed by the German team which obtained 207 points, while the Moroccan team came third with 153 points, leaving the competition between Qatar and Germany. The competitiveness is expected to intensify in the championship in two days, after reaching the final stage to determine the champions in the various competitions. Member of Qatar Air Sports Committee Mohamed Ahmed Al Mohannadi affirmed that the championship achieved great success and received a notable international and regional acknowledgment. (QNA)
