Dejagah could be out for rest of season

TEHRAN,April 13(MNA)--Fulham midfielder Ashkan Dejagah is expected to be sidelined for the rest of the season, Fulham coach says. In Fulham’s 3-2 victory over QPR on April 1, the Iranian sustained an ankle ligament injury. Dejagah will go under the knife next week and he will not play again this season, Martin Jol said. The 27-year-old joined Fulham from Wolfsburg at the start of the English Premiere League season. "Ashkan Dejagah needs an operation on his ankle ligament," Jol told reporters. "That will be next week and I think he will be out for the rest of the season." Dejagah will also miss decider against Qatar in the 2014 World Cup qualifier, slated for June 4.
