Director of Qatar QTerminals Classic: Qatar is Distinguished for Successful Organization of Tournaments

Doha, October 24 (QNA) - Director of the 2021 Qatar QTerminals Classic Tariq Zainal underlined that the State of Qatar is distinguished for its successful organization of tournaments, referring to the great success of the 2021 Qatar QTerminals Classic. Speaking at a press conference held this evening at the conclusion of the 2021 Qatar QTerminals Classic, Zainal said that it is not strange for Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF) to organize tournaments that are at the forefront of the professional world championships, whether in tennis or squash, and soon in the padel. He noted that QTerminals Classic is ranked among the best squash tournaments in the world given the participation of the world's top seeds, the accurate organization, and the provision of all facilities and the appropriate atmosphere for players. He added that the main goal was for the tournament to come out in an honorable manner befitting Qatar's outstanding organization of various international events, expressing pleasure with the organizational and technical levels. The director of the tournament congratulated Peru's Diego Elias for winning the title of the 2021 Qatar QTerminals Classic for the first time in his history, and New Zealand's Paul Coll who won the second place. For his part, QTSBF Executive Director Saad Al Mohannadi expressed his happiness with the remarkable success that was achieved thanks to the Qatari cadres working in the various committees who performed their work to the fullest, stressing that there were no complaints from the participants in the tournament throughout the week. He noted the praise by all delegations for the technical and organizational level of the tournament which is the biggest evidence of the success that has been achieved. Neville Bissett, CEO of QTerminals, the official sponsor of Qatar QTerminals Classic, praised the technical and organizational level of the tournament, stressing that the tournament is considered one of the best annual squash tournaments in the world as it sees the participation of top-ranked squash players and enjoys a very high technical level.
