Doha 2020 Olympics Bid Team Adds New Members

Doha, February 06 (QNA) - Doha 2020, the organisation bidding to host the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Monday announced the addition of new members to its team. The new members are Deputy CEO and Technical Director Fahad Juma; Legal Director Tariq Falamarzi and Marketing and Communications Director Fatma Al Ghanim. In a media statement issued here today, Doha 2020 has confirmed it will unveil its bid logo and slogan in Doha on February 10th at the annual community fun day event Wheels n' Heels, which promotes physical activity and healthy lifestyles in Qatar. The official Doha 2020 bid website will also be launched on this day. Doha s 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games bid CEO Noora Al Mannai, said today, "We are building a talented Bid Committee and these latest appointments further strengthen our team as we head into an important phase of the 2020 campaign. "The unveiling of our bid logo and slogan and the launch of the new website are all important building blocks in our bid to host the first ever Olympic and Paralympic Games in the Arab World. "Our Applicant File is also now in the very final stages of production. We are proud of its content and the hosting plans and legacy vision it contains, and look forward to making its contents public next month after it is submitted to the IOC," said the statement. (QNA)
