Doha Marine Sports Club Postpones 4th Edition of Al Dasha Festival

Doha, February 06 (QNA) - Doha Marine Sports Club postponed the 4th edition of Al Dasha Festival until further notice, due to the current conditions of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and to limit the spread of the COVID-19. With reference to the protocol issued by the Ministry of Public Health on the suspension of sport activities and events during Qatar Sport Day in order to curb the Coronavirus pandemic, it has been decided to postpone the 4th edition of Al Dasha Festival until further notice, the club said in a statement. Al Dasha Festival had been held three times over the past three years, and witnessed a great turnout by contestants, participants and marine sport enthusiasts. Based on the directives of the Ministry of Public Health, the Organizing Committee of Al Dasha Festival decided to postpone it until further notice in order to prevent the spread of the virus especially as the festival enjoys great follow-up and participation from a large number of community members, said Vice President of the Doha Marine Sports Club Salah Ibrahim Al Mannai.
