Fans to Attend Joint Asian Qualifiers for World Cup

Doha, June 01 (QNA) - The local organizing committee of the matches of Group E in the joint Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup Qatar and the 2023 Asian Cup in China announced that the matches of this group will be held in Doha with a 30 percent crowd attendance.
The Qatar Football Association (QFA) is preparing to host the matches of Group E with the participation of Qatar, Oman, India, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh. All matches will be held in Doha from June 3 to June 15, at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd Sports Club.
Tickets will be available to fans three days before the start of the matches, starting today, at a flat ticket price of QR20, and will be put up for sale on the QFA website, tickets.qfa.qa.
Allowing attendance of 30 percent comes in line with the instructions of the Ministry of Public Health, according to the plan to gradually lift the restrictions that were recently imposed in the country in several stages to limit the COVID-19 spread, especially concerning local and international sporting events in which mass attendance is allowed, subject to obtaining vaccination.
The health protocol will be implemented to preserve the health and safety of all qualifying teams, organizers, and media alike, especially after the great success that the health protocol in previous experiences such as the AFC Champions League, HH the Amir Cup, and the Club World Cup in the last two versions, in addition to the Total African Super Cup 2020, which was recently held in Doha.
