Federer Chooses Qatar ExxonMobil Open to Mark Return to Courts

Bern, February 02 (QNA) - Tennis legend Roger Federer said Tuesday that he chose Qatar ExxonMobil Open, set to take place in March, as the event where he will make his comeback to courts. Federer, who won 20 Grand Slams, will play in the competition that will take place from March 8 to March 13. The Swiss player underwent two knee surgeries, which ruled him out from all competitions since the Australian Open last year. He said that it was too soon for him to play in the Australian Open that will begin in the next few days, adding that he looks forward to competing in the other competitions such as Wimbledon, the US Open and the Tokyo Olympics.
