FEI praises HH Shaikh Nasser's Spain victory

Manama, Oct. 23 (BNA): The success pf HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in winning the FEI World Endurance Championship for eight-year-old horses in Spain has been praised by the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI). HH Shaikh Nasser claimed victory during the race, outclassing 41 elite riders representing 20 countries in the 120km race. FEI's website focused on HH Shaikh Nasser's great achievement, stressing that HH's experience and wisdom have entitled him to win the well-deserved title. FEI lauded HH Shaikh Nasser's outstanding exploit, noting that he raced to victory during the four-stage 120-km race in which elite international riders participated. The website indicated that the competition among riders was fierce, but HH Shaikh Nasser clinched the first place thanks to the "impeccable level of fitness" of his horse, "Lola De Jalima". It is worth noting that HH Shaikh has brought home four consecutive titles so far this year, namely the Royal Windsor Horse Show, the Montalcino international endurance championship in Italy, the World Endurance Championship at Šamorín, Slovakia, and the FEI World Endurance Championship for eight-year-old horses in Spain.
