FIA Racing: Sheikh Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Thani Finishes Sixth

Riyadh, March 10 (QNA) - Qatari racer Sheikh Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Thani finished in sixth place on his first participation in the FIA World Cup for short desert rallies that is currently taking place in Saudi Arabia. The race saw a lot of accidents due to the low visibility and difficult weather conditions. Qatari rider Mohammed Al Kaabi suffered an accident after 70 kilometers and lost his consciousness. The other Qatari racer Jamal Al Mansouri also suffered a shoulder injury. Sheikh Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Thani said after the race that he was pleased with his participation. He added that there were a lot of lessons he learned from taking part in the event. (QNA)
