FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021: Palestine Sweep Comoros 5-1

Doha, June 24 (QNA) - The Palestinian national team qualified for the group stage of the Arab Cup/FIFA Qatar/ 2021, after it succeeded in defeating Comoros five goals to one in the match that brought them together today at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd Club. The Comoros opened the score line through Djoumoi Moussa early on in the fifth minute. Palestine soon turned the table Ahmed Qatmish scored the equalizer in the 35th minute, Oday Dabbagh followed up with the second in the 42nd minute ending the first half with a Palestinian lead. In the second half Tamer Seyam expanded the lead with a brace in the 56th and 72nd minutes, Islam Batran scored the fifth and final goal in the sweeping victory. The Palestinian team joins Group C, which includes tough matches with Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. (QNA)
