The design of the trophy also embodies the Arab culture and some of its symbols and connotations, where the ball at the top of the trophy symbolizes the championship and the importance of football in the Arab world, and the map of the Arab world is prominently engraved on the ball to distinguish it from the rest of the world.
The tournament logo includes Arabic letters of the word "Mawtani" carved in an artistic way on the bottom of the trophy, in reference to the arts of Arabic calligraphy and Arab solidarity and unity.
It combines the lower and upper parts of trophy, the keffiyeh or the ghutra, which the men of the Arab region are famous for wearing, and which appears as if it embraces the shape of the trophy with complete undulation and flow.
