FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021:Yemen Coach Praises Qatar's Organization of Arab Cup Qualifiers

Doha, June 23 (QNA) - The coach of the Yemeni national team, Ahmed Ali Qassem, praised the distinguished and wonderful Qatari organization of the qualifying matches for the Arab Cup group stage (FIFA Qatar 2021), since the team's arrival at Hamad International Airport. Ahmed Ali Qassem stressed, in press statements, the interest of the Local Organizing Committee in facilitating all procedures to enter the medical bubble, which were applied strictly and professionally, in the interest of the State of Qatar and the International Football Association (FIFA) for the safety of players and their protection from the Coronavirus pandemic. He said, "We would like to thank the State of Qatar for hosting the qualifiers for the Arab Cup (FIFA Qatar 2021), which we consider as a World Cup tournament dedicated to the Arab world, as the organization of the event was very special, and we saw great generosity and interest from the local organizing committee. He added, "We had hoped to participate in the finals, but we were not successful. This is football. We have to accept it and look forward to better results in the future. The team tried to achieve a better result, especially in the second half, despite the numerical shortage after the expulsion of one of the players. The competition has become a reality, and the qualifiers were a very useful experience for the team, and we were pleased to be here and participate in this wonderful atmosphere."
