FIFA Club World Cup: Bayern Coach Says Team Aim to Claim Title

Doha, February 07 (QNA) - Bayern Munich coach Hans Flick said that his team's aim is to claim the title of FIFA Club World Cup 2020 when they meet African champions Al Ahly SC of Egypt at Ahmed bin Ali stadium on Monday. Speaking at a press conference ahead of their match tomorrow, coach Hans Flick said Al Ahly are a team that looks to play good football, they are really flexible in attack. "Their full-backs get forward a lot as well. I have gotten to know their head coach recently and he is really impressive," "Our aim is to win this competition. We know that it's considered as something of a burden but we are motivated and we want to cap off an outstanding year with a sixth title. "We had to win the UEFA Champions League to get here. We have a match every three days so were just taking it one step at a time in training. From today we will be working on intense preparations for the game against Al Ahly." Bayern utility player Joshua Kimmich has, however, described his team as "clear favorites" against Al Ahly "the Bayern Munich of Egypt." "We are really happy to have the opportunity to take part in and win this tournament. First we have to play our semi-final, a match in which we are the clear favorites," said Kimmich. (QNA)
