FIFA Club World Cup: Palmeiras Coach Says Team Aspire to Reach Final

Doha, February 06 (QNA) - Brazil's Palmeiras coach Abel Ferreira said that his team qualification to the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup 2020 is the results of great work done during the last period as the team claimed the title of the Copa Libertadores, while terming tomorrow's match against Mexican Tigres UANL as not easy and they enter it with big ambitions. Ahead of Sunday's game at the Education City stadium, Palmeiras coach Ferreira said the team aspire to reach the final match of the tournament by winning tomorrow's match, promising that his team would make every effort to qualify for the final. He said that the team have all moral motives to qualify for the final of the Club World Cup. He also expressed his confidence in his team's ability to provide the best after showing a great level in the Copa Libertadores championship, adding that they seek to please the Brazilian fans who have been waiting for a long time to see the team win the South American championship and reach the Club World Cup. "Tigres have played in the three finals of CONCACAF in the last five years and are a team which has been invested heavily. In addition they have a collective, purposeful way of playing," said Ferreira. "But we are prepared to face them. They are a quality opponent, but nothing changes our ambition.
