FIFA Club World Cup: Ulsan Hyundai Coach Says We Look to Win Fifth Place Sunday
Doha, February 06 (QNA) - South Korean Ulsan Hyundai Coach Hong Myung-bo said that his team will play a good match Sunday against Qatar's Al Duhail in their match to determine the fifth and sixth places in the FIFA Club World Cup being held in Doha.
During a press conference today, Myung-bo said that tomorrow's match will not be easy at all, especially since Al Duhail have players with a good technical level in all positions, adding that he will give the opportunity to a number of young players during this match because it will be a great start for them, and an opportunity for them to obtain the necessary experience to serve the club and the South Korean national team as well.
The coach praised the distinguished organization of the tournament, saying that the organizers welcomed them very well since their arrival in Doha, as a clear indication of the excellence that will be seen in the World Cup Qatar 2022. He explained that despite the difficulties and challenges due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Qatar has made great work and effort to organize the championship in the best possible way.
He also pointed out that his team focused on preparing the players physically after their first match against Tigres, which they lost 0-2, and from which he learned and benefited a lot.
For his part, Ulsan Hyundai player Won Du-jae said that the result of the first match against Mexico's Tigres was not what they aspired to, stressing that his team has to be confident to provide a better level and achieve their goal by winning over Al Duhail and returning to their previously impressive levels.
The player said the atmosphere in the FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar is very distinctive, and that the stadiums are wonderful and all things are well prepared, just as the atmosphere helps the players to present their best in the green pitch. (QNA)
