Doha, April 01 (QNA) - President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Patrice Motsepe said that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be a special edition, one of the best in the competition's history. Speaking after the World Cup draw, he said that Qatar is well capable of hosting a special edition, thanks to its culture and good preparation ahead of the competition. He said that the competition will reflect the Qatari people's special culture and heritage. On the African teams' chances, he said that they stand with a shout in the competition. He expressed his hope that they show a level that reflects well on the continents football. He also expressed his hope that one of the teams can reach the semi-final, highlighting that Africa has some of the world's best players. (QNA)
