FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022: Hojbjerg Says Denmark to 'Go Far' in Championship

Doha, August 19 (QNA) - Denmark's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg said his side would be among the favorites to win an advanced position in the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 set to kick off in November based on their current excellent technical status.
Denmark were drawn into Group D along with France, Tunisia and Australia. Their debut will be against Tunisia at the Education City Stadium on the third day of the championship. Thirty-two national teams will compete in eight groups.
The FIFA official website said the Tottenham star would most likely be one of his national team's mainstays in the upcoming championship due to his brilliance and high technical levels provided that he does not suffer injuries.
The FIFA report highlighted Danish manager Kasper Yollmann's statements that hailed the player's contributions in both attacking and defensive status.
Speaking to the FIFA website, Hojbjerg said, "With Casper, I will do anything and he knows it. For me, he is a leading coach in terms of style, both technically and tactically, and he is a modern and distinguished leader," adding: We have to believe in our capabilities. And what we are doing during the World Cup, yes, we are not Brazil, Germany, or France, that is a great force, but we have what others do not have, we just have to use it well and see where we can go in the World Cup.
Commenting on the relationship between his team and the fans, Hojbjerg said, "When we play we feel like we are playing with the heart of one man, and this is very special and has a strong impact." It is also not mandatory, it comes naturally and is very unique." (QNA)
