Doha, April 02 (QNA) - HE Secretary-General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) Hassan Al Thawadi expressed his belief that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be the greatest edition ever. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the draw held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), he said that the competition will be the best ever thanks to the legacy it will leave for Qatar, the Arab region, and the entire world. He said that today's event was another step towards the start of the World Cup, which show the reveal of the mascot, the World Cup's official song, and the draw. He said that today's event left all participants with a good impression, adding that even those who had doubts left with a positive impression. On Qatar's group in the World Cup, he said that Arab teams will face a big challenge at the World Cup. He also said that the match against Ecuador will be a difficult one. He highlighted that the Qatari team does have experience facing South American teams, having participated in Copa America.
