Football Stars of Paris Saint-Germain Visit Sidra Medicine

Doha, May 15 (QNA) - Football stars of Paris Saint-Germain paid a visit to the Kids Cancer Patients at Sidra Medicine, as an effort to support cancer fighters. During the visit, around 20 kids got to meet outstanding PSG players like Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Presnel Kimpembe, Danilo Pereira, and Idrissa Gueye, where they took memorable photos, and received special gifts like autographed PSG jerseys and toy vouchers. Commenting on this visit that included a number of QNBs executive management representatives, General Manager of QNB Group Communications Heba Al Tamimi said: "We are delighted that the kids got to meet the distinguished PSG players who came to spread joy among the cancer patients, who really deserve our attention. Most of the kids were football fans and were extremely excited to see their favorite players, and I am happy we got to make that happen." She added: "We aim to continue supporting such initiatives as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility activities at QNB, especially in our collaborations with the Qatar Cancer Society." The Paris Saint-Germain delegation landed in Doha on Sunday morning, as part of its promotional tour that the team is holding in Qatar over the next two days. This tour will be an opportunity for the team to meet its Qatari supporters and take part in a series of events. The team's players will visit two of the eight stadiums hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Several of the players will take part in a live feed on Instagram with Qatar Airways, to show as many viewers as possible around these football venues. PSG indicated that this trip is an opportunity to highlight the innovative and exceptional characteristics of sports facilities in Qatar, ahead of the launch of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 from November 21 to December 18 for the first time in the Arab region and Middle East.
