Handball World Cup: Qatar to Face Japan on Sunday

Doha, January 17 (QNA) - Qatar handball team will play the second match of the 2021 Handball World Cup Egypt on Sunday when they face their Japanese counterpart in Group C at the Burj Al Arab hall in Alexandria. On Friday, Qatar secured a 30-25 victory over Angola, while Japan held Croatia to a 29:29 draw in their first match. Tomorrow's match is a challenge for the Qatar handball team in light of the great performance shown by their Japanese counterpart in the match they played against Croatia yesterday in the first round of competitions. The national team competes in this championship while missing some players due to injuries, but the team have great capabilities and experience such as veteran goalkeeper Danijel Saric, Ahmad Madadi and Frankis.
