Head-to-head battles set to intensify in Bahrain Drag Racing Championship at BIC

Manama, Jan. 12 (BNA): The fourth and penultimate round of the 2022/2023 Bahrain Drag Racing Championship is taking place this week at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), with plenty to fight for amongst the competitors lining up at BIC’s world-class, quarter-mile strip.
Following the cancellation of the previous meeting due to heavy rain, the battles for all-important championship points have intensified with the season headed for a grand finale.
Two nights of Test and Tune have kicked off the action on Tuesday and Wednesday night at "The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East".
Qualifying will be held Thursday and will be followed by Race Day on Friday.
The Bahrain Drag Racing Championship has attracted participants from all over the world, competing in 13 classes for both cars and motorbikes.
They are to go head-to-head on the BIC strip, a member of the prestigious Worldwide Network of the U.S.-based National Hot Rod Association (NHRA).
Qualifying and Race Day action will begin from 4pm on Thursday and from 1pm on Friday.
Following this week’s round, the 2022/2023 Bahrain Drag Racing Championship will culminate with the fifth and final meeting on January 31 – February 3.
