HH the Amir Cup: Al Sailiya Qualifies for Quarterfinals

Doha, February 14 (QNA) - Al Sailiya SC qualified for the quarterfinals of the 50th edition of HH the Amir Football Cup for the 2021-2022 season, after defeating Al Arabi 2-0 today at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd Club. Walter Bwalya scored first goal for Al Sailiya from a penalty kick in the 32nd minute, and Dostenbeck Kamadamo scored the second goal in the 62nd minute. The match was technically medium before Hamed Ismail committed a foul by blocking Mishaal Al Shammari, so Al Sailiya received a penalty kick, from which Walter Bwalya scored the first goal. In the second half, Al Arabi increased its efforts in search of a tie, while Al Sailiyas performance was characterized by pressing performance in extracting balls and closing spaces to preserve the goal of progress based on counterattacks, until 62nd minute where Dostenbeck Kamadamo scored the Al Sailiyas second goal. The final touch remained the problem of Al Arabi at a time when the defense of Al Sailiya, led by Mustafa Muhammad, succeeded in confronting Al Arabi's attempts, until the referee announced the end of the match with the victory of Al Sailiya.
