HH the Amir Cup: Qatar SC Qualifies for Quarterfinals

Doha, February 13 (QNA) - Qatar SC qualified for the quarterfinals of the 50th edition of HH the Amir Football Cup for the 2021/22 season, after defeating Al Shamal 2-1 today, at Hamad Grand Stadium in Al Arabi Club.
With this victory, the Qatar SC set a date with the winner of the Al Gharafa and Al Kharaitiyat match, which will be held next Wednesday in the same stadium.
Jamal bin Al Omari scored first goal for Qatar SC in the 26th minute, Mohammad Abdulmutallab equalized for Al Shamal in the 40th minute, Bashar Rasan put Qatar SC in the lead again in the 68th minute.
The start of the match was equal between the two teams, with a relative advantage for Qatar SC, who led some attacks through Sebastian Soria, Bashar Resan, Salah Al Yahyai and Javier Martinez, but it did not pose a threat to the Al Shamal's goal.
The most dangerous opportunity for the Qatar SC was Sebastian Sorias strong shot that passed next to the right post of Al Shamal in the 11th minute and another of Omar Al Emadi header slightly crossed over the crossbar in the 13th minute
