HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad triumphs in Šamorín Endurance

Bratislava July 9 (BNA): His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Khalifa, triumphed in the World Endurance Championship in Šamorín, Slovakia. in Slovakia. HH Shaikh Nasser, Royal Endurance Team captain, won the 160-kilometre race, confirming his readiness to compete in the upcoming world championship in Italy. Riding his horse “Bullet”, Shaikh Nasser covered the distance of the race, clocking 7 hours, 55 minutes and 42 seconds, followed by Jaffer Mirza who rode Kalandria. Royal Team riders Cecilia and Raed Mahmoud finished fourth and fifth respectively. HH Shaikh Isa bin Faisal bin Rashid Al-Khalifa showed his potential, finishing the 160-kilometre race. The achievement reflects the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for endurance sport in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the support and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The royal care has turned the endurance sport into an asset for promoting the Kingdom of Bahrain in overseas competitions in Europe, thus meeting one of the goals stipulated in the 203o Bahrain Economic Vision. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa dedicated the victory to HM the King, expressing sincere thanks and gratitude for the royal care which enabled Bahrain’s endurance sport to shine in European cham[ionships. “This victory confirms the readiness of the royal team to participate in the upcoming world championship…The vision has become clear to us after we achieved several positive results in the past period that confirm the team's readiness and high potential before the world championship”, he said. He congratulated second-placed Jaffer Mirza, wishing the royal team every success in the upcoming races.
