HH Shaikh Nasser hails Cordoba FC victory

Manama, Jan. 17 (BNA): Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, expressed delight at the success of the Córdoba Club de Fútbol in beating Lorca Deportiva Club de Fútbol, 1-0 in the Spanish second division. He said that the victory reflects the players’ high morale and keenness to apply the technical staff’s instructions to the fullest. HH Shaikh Nasser affirmed that Cordoba FC is on the right track towards achieving the goals set by its Board of Directors, stressing his keenness to support the team. He indicated that the team’s performance is improving gradually, wishing it more victories in the coming rounds. Ledesma scored Cordoba’s winning goal in the 56th minute. Cordoba FC is now second in the Spanish Division B, with 18 points, two points behind leaders, UCAM Murcia FC.
