HH Shaikh Nasser praises filly "Naamoos" victory at Sandown Park Racecourse

Manama, Apr. 23 (BNA): HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has expressed delight at the success of his filly, “Naamoos”, in winning the first place of the 1600-metre race of the Esher Cup, held today for three-year-old fillies at the Sandown Park Racecourse. HH Shaikh Nasser pointed out that the victory adds to the numerous successes achieved by Bahrain abroad recently, and confirms the distinguished status enjoyed by the equestrian sport in the kingdom thanks to the unwavering support of HM King Hamad. HH Shaikh Nasser lauded the tremendous efforts exerted by jockey Ben A Curtis, and trainer, Mark Johnston, over the past period to prepare filly “Naamoos” for the race, wishing them further success.
