IHF Men's Super Globe 2021: Qatar's Al Duhail Faces CalHeat of America

Doha, October 07 (QNA) - Qatar's Al Duhail SC will face San Francisco CalHeat of America on Friday in the fifth to tenth place matches in the International Handball Federation IHF, (Super Globe 2021) championship from Oct. 5 to 9 in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Al Duhail lost its chance to reach the semi-finals after losing to Magdeburg SC of Germany 23-35 Wednesday in the quarter-finals. Al Duhail participate in the tournament as a representative of Asia after winning the title of the 23rd Asian Championship for Handball Champions Clubs which was also held in Jeddah last June after its victory in the final match against Al Kuwait SC of Kuwait 27-24. Al Duhail's participation in this edition is the second in a row as Al Duhail had participated in the last edition (Super Globe 2019) which was also held in Saudi Arabia in which ranked eighth while the tournament was canceled last year (2020) due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
