Iran’s Dehghan wing gold in Asian Youth Weightlifting

TEHRAN,June 1(MNA)--Alireza Dehghan of Iran swept all three gold medals in the 85kg category of the 15th Asian Youth Weightlifting Championships on Friday. Dehghan lifted 135kg in snatch and 176kg in clean and jerk for a total lift of 311kg in the weight category, in the event is underway in Doha, Qatar. Ramin Valipour of Iran has already claimed a bronze medal in the 77kg category by lifting 113kg in snatch, 137kg in clean and jerk for a total of 250kg. The competition has brought about 250 weightlifters from 40 Asian countries together.
