Iran 3rd in Asia Kabaddi Cup

TEHRAN,Nov.7(MNA)--Iran finished in third place at the 2nd Asia Kabaddi Cup on Monday. The Iranian team beat Nepal 72-27 in the bronze medal match at the Punjab Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan. Pakistan dethroned India by beating its traditional rivals 40-31 in a controversial final. Nepal was the only team, who failed to register any win in the six-team tournament, ending at rock bottom. In the other game, Sri Lanka beat Afghanistan 51-42 to clinch fourth place.
