Iran Beats Russia In 3rd Round Of Greco-Roman Wrestling World Cup

Tehran, May 20, IRNA – The Iranian National Greco-Roman Wrestling Team on Saturday overpowered the Russian team by 4-3 in the 3rd round of the 2012 Greco-Roman Wrestling World Cup (May 19-20), held in Saransk, Russia, on Saturday. The Iranian team falls in group B together with the national teams of Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Bulgaria. Turkey, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Korea and Hungary play in the parallel group. Iran has already been faced with the national team of Azerbaijan, taking the first place in the group to get to the final./end
