Iran destroys Sri Lanka in Asian school football

TEHRAN,Oct.20(MNA) – Iran beat Sri Lanka 17-0 in its second match on Friday in the 40th Asian Schools Football Championship at Shahid Bahonar Stadium in Tehran. Earlier on Thursday, in its opening match, Iran defeated Indonesia 4-0. Sri Lanka had lost to South Korea 12-2 in its opening match. In the other matches on Friday, Malaysia defeated Brunei 4-0; Thailand overwhelmed China 4-1; and South Korea demolished Pakistan 11-0.
