Iran to play Gabon in friendly – Iranian official

TEHRAN,July 13(MNA) – Iran will more likely play friendly with Gabon in its training camp in Lisbon, Portugal in August, the sporting director of Iran football team said. “Iran will hold a training camp in Lisbon from August 7 to 15. We are going to play Gabon in the camp since the team will also hold a training camp there in that time,” Mehdi Mohammad Nabi said. Iran is going to play a friendly match with Venezuela as well in preparation for the 2014 World Cup. Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz has already said that the Iran football team is not a tourist in Brazil.
