Iran wins Ukraine Football 7-a-side tournament

TEHRAN,May 12(MNA)--Iran won the title of the pre-Olympic Football 7-a-side tournament which was held in Ukraine from May 3 to 8. Iran defeated Russia 3-1 in the final game and won the championship. The Iranian team had defeated the U.S., Argentina and Ukraine in the event. Iran’s Farzad Mehri was selected as the most valuable player of the competitions by the organizers.
