Iranian discus thrower wins silver in Doha

DOHA,May 13(MNA)– Ehsan Hadadi from Iran claimed a silver medal in the Doha Diamond League on Friday. The Iranian stood at second place with a throw of 66.32 meters. Piotr Malachowski of Poland won the title with a throw of 67.53 meters and Zoltan Koevago from Hungary finished at the third place with 65.77 meters. The Samsung Diamond League is an annual series of track and field meetings which is organized by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and was designed to replace the IAAF Golden League, which was held annually since 1998.
