Iran`s Esteghlal held by Al Jazira

TEHRAN,April 19(MNA)--Iran’s Esteghlal was held to a 1-1 draw by Al Jazia in Group A of the UAE in the AFC Champions League on Wednesday. Arash Borhani opened the scoring for the visiting team in the 24th minute. Ricardo Oliveira equalized the match with a header in the 64th minute. Elsewhere, Qatar's Al Rayyan beat Nasaf 1-0 at the Qarshi Stadium. Rodrigo Tabata scored the solitary goal of the match. Al Jazira remains top of the table with 10 points, followed by Al Rayyan (6 points) and Esteghlal (5 points). Nasf is fourth with a single point.
