Iran`s Mehdi Rahmati to extend with Esteghlal

TEHRAN,June 20(MNA) – Esteghlal goalkeeper Mehdi Rahmati reached an agreement with the Iranian football club to extend his contract . His contract expired at the end of the season and he has been linked with some Iranian clubs. Rahmati withdrew from the national team due to some problems in January. The goalie tried to return to the national team and apologized to the officials but Iran coach Carlos Queiroz dropped him for three vital qualifiers against Qatar, Lebanon and South Korea.
