Iran`s Tractorsazi signs Ali Karimi

TABRIZ ,June 15(MNA)– Tractorsazi of Tabriz football team has officially announced the signing of Ali Karimi. Free agent Karimi joined the Iranian runner-up on Thursday on a one-year contract. The 35-year-old midfielder called time on his career when Persepolis lost to Sepahan in penalty shootout in Iran’s Hazfi Cup in early May, however the former Bayern Munich player decided to come out of retirement soon after. “I am happy so I joined an old football club. Tractorsazi has so many enthusiastic supporters and I chose the team because of them,” Karimi said. “From now on, I just think about Tractor and I hope that we can make our fans happy,” Karimi added. Tractorsazi of Tabriz has appointed Majid Jalali as the new head coach of the team last week.
